Development

Education, women, health, investment, the environment and other honorable pursuits at CIPIVIE

1 / THE DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIO-ECONOMIC INTEGRATION PROJECTS

Socio-economic integration of vulnerable and marginalized populations as well as indigenous peoples considered as "wholly apart men" can not be fully effective, powerful and reliable if they do not participate as social beings in their relationships with other people who live in an environment other than their own. It is through others that we acquire the basic values that guide our lives. Community projects, agro-pastoral projects and social reintegration projects aim to ensure that vulnerable and marginalized populations become aware of their sense of responsibility in improving the quality of life of communities and their role as actors of development.

2 / THE EMERGENCY OF RELIABLE BASIC EDUCATION

The urgency of reliable basic education is one of the key development priorities. The establishment of societies based on justice, solidarity and equality, where marginalized and unmarried people see respect for their dignity and full development as human beings, depends to a great extent on the development of education. The creation, rehabilitation and equipping of schools and vocational training centers, training and education of the infant and adult population, capacity-building of teaching staff, training of trainers, qualifying training courses to advance literacy and adult learning ... represent the objectives supported by CIPIVIE.

3 / THE PROMOTION OF WOMEN AS AN ACTRESS TO DEVELOPMENT

Social life subjects us to natural conditionalities which require that an important sector, that of the advancement of women, needs special attention, because it represents a work of constant importance, interpenetrating and complementing the sector educative. Indeed, experience and reality prove sufficiently that investing in women and promoting their development as a source of income for the family, ensuring the responsible education of their children, is a sure value, the benefits of which fall back not only on their families but also on their community, and consequently on their nation in its plenitude.

4 / HEALTH FOR ALL AND HUMANITARIAN PHARMACIES

Without access to primary health care, it is impossible to achieve the most basic development goals. When health is lacking, all work or progress becomes difficult. Through support for projects targeting the most vulnerable and marginalized populations, CIPIVIE aims to prevent diseases through the creation, renovation, equipping and upgrading of dispensaries, community-based humanitarian medical centers, establishment of pharmacies and pharmaceutical humanitarian depots, access to essential generic medicines, promotion of vaccination campaigns, preventive medicine, and empowerment of health promoters.

5 / PROMOTING INVESTMENT, VALORIZATION AND INNOVATION AND THE ENTREPRENEURSHIP OF YOUNG VULNERABLES

The promotion of investment, promotion and innovation of vulnerable young people refers to the technical, logistical and / or financial support of vulnerable young people, promoters, owners and founders of real and sustainable job creation projects for social integration (Crafts, SMEs, SMIs, Agropastoral Cooperatives, Pre-Cooperative Agricultural Group and Independent Professionals).

6 / THE FIGHT AGAINST POVERTY AND HUMAN DEVELOPMENT

Aware of the economic crisis affecting humanity, CIPIVIE, at heart with other humanitarian NGOs around the world, works to raise awareness of the prevailing poverty among vulnerable and marginalized populations, and their real problems: famine and lack of access to the most basic survival resources, access to primary health care and essential generic medicines, the degradation of the education system, valorisation and innovation of entrepreneurship for vulnerable young people, the promotion of women as actors in development, of the practical issue of community and agro-pastoral projects to promote human development. CIPIVIE is fighting for a world where the voices of the poorest and the marginalized must be heard and counted, influencing the systems and decisions that affect them.

7 / NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL HUMANITARIAN ACTION

CIPIVIE has a humanitarian vocation. It strives for the improvement of life on a daily basis, for the good health and development of the most deprived populations. From the lack of food to the poorest populations in the absence of the most essential generics to the marginalized, to their lack of access to primary health care, lack of the most basic resources for better survival and dropout, the universal mobilization of valiant donors and the undeniable generosity of sister humanitarian NGOs encourage us to be the true pioneers of humanitarian volunteering in our subregion.

8 / THE PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT

The forests of the Congo Basin represent one of the lungs of biodiversity conservation and the protection of our planet. This is why CIPIVIE, which is likely to be rooted in its Principal Jurisdiction in the heart of the Congo Basin, can only participate in the noble universal struggle against the phenomenon of desertification and naturally promote afforestation and reforestation policies. States around the Congo Basin form the need to opt and adopt "the vision of the emergence of a green economy". We seek and mobilize alongside the Governments of the States of our subregion the energies necessary for the protection, conservation, and sustainable and concerted management of the Congo Basin forests, with a plan to combat the threat of global warming's effects on our planet.
